Reserved seats in first class only to find them occupied. No water as someone else drank them. No room for our luggage and disgusting chewing gum left on the side. Sturovo to Budapest route.

Just to add when I got to my hotel there was also chewing gum stuck to my coat from the over head storage where I placed it upon boarding the train. This has ruined the coat, so I basically paid for no service, nobody even came to check the ticket, no water, a filthy seat and a train so badly cleaned that it destroyed my coat. Absolutely appalling!

I specifically chose the overnight train from Prague to Bratislava so I could sleep, given there are supposed to be sleeper cars available. However, it was impossible to purchase a ticket for a bed—online or in person. At the main station, they told me to speak to the conductor once on board, who then informed me that it wasn’t possible either.

It’s frustrating and ironic that České dráhy, a company whose sole job is running trains, can’t even sell a proper sleeper ticket. Now I’m stuck in a regular seat all night when I really needed to rest before driving the next day. This was a huge disappointment and a total failure on České dráhy’s part. I sincerely hope they improve—or go out of business if they can’t manage the basics.

Customer always the last priority. Train delays became a standard thanks to monopoly they created. When they leave you in the city due to their train that got delayed and there is no more trains/busses to get home, they will happily smile and greet you. No refund options, no help, only in a very specific sitations which you must make 8 steps correctly to maybe be eligible to apply for a refund. In case of trouble they will talk to you like a lawyer. In last 15 years I don't remember that train RJ374 would come on time. I'm not talking about few minutes delay, im talking about 20-60 min delays.

Typical arrogant. Train RJ 374 not even once came on time ..... and since its one of the last trains, they always cause problem with the next connection. If the train should arrive 22:35 but everytime it arrives 22:50-23:30, how hard is it to simply update the arrival time. They clearly don't care about their customers.

This was a horrible experience. Munich to Prague which is a 4.5 hour trip was overbooked by at least double. Elderly individuals standing on the train while in motion with nowhere to sit. Advertised to have food service which never opened. Frequent unexplained stops. Absolutely no area to store baggage. The only redeeming quality of the trip was the scenery outside of the train. If you can take any other train carrier to your destination, you should.

Edit to add that our trip from Prague to Berlin was equally awful. The attendant was extremely aggressive with passengers and said with a straight face “purchasing a ticket does not guarantee passage.” People sitting on the floor of the aisles which I’m certain is a violation of fire codes.

Petitioning google to give us a 0 star option for this business.

Our best rail trip so far.
We had an end to end 7 hour trip on 276 EuroCity METROPOLITAN in 1st class and everything went great!
The service is great, the food is delicious and they serve good portions.

Never try to book a ticket with this company. They are always late, have a really bad customer service and the worst is their application, it's complete bullshit.

You cannot have the information about where the train is exactly and where it's gonna park while arriving in Prague.

I booked tickets with them twice and still disappointed. No refund possible from them.

Better you choose RegioJet, you can choose your seat, know where the train will park and also get a refund anytime.

Booked first class ticket from Prague to Czesky Krumlov and back. On the way south the first class carriage was the oldest, 50 years I’m guessing. No plugs, no WiFi, heat was so bad we had to open the windows. The conductor found me sitting on the floor in the baggage compartment and apologized for the conditions and offered us a refund, we rode in the last car instead. On the way back the first class bathroom didn’t work, the door was broken so it was noisy and the WiFi didn’t work. I sat in second class and when that conductor asked for my ticket and I told him why I wasn’t sitting in first class he didn’t care. Ride this rail service at your own risk but I don’t see any benefit of paying for first class.
