Chilis is easy to get to on foot or by car (parking available). They serve delicious fusion food with generous portions at excellent rates, the duck special was particularly exquisite. The staff are multilingual and very friendly. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and family friendly with good child options on the menu. We attended with a toddler and a baby in a high chair (provided by Chilis) and the staff were great with the kids. We enjoyed the character of the decor and memorabilia, a charming contrast to the area.
I would recommend Chilis to anyone wanting to have a tasty meal out in a place with great character and kind staff.

Great place. I had a flat tire on my bicycle the waiter tried to fix it. It was a Saturday..and there was no bus service. The owner gave me ride back to where I was staying. Amazing!

I waited for the waitress 30 minutes, even if I called her 4 times. When she finally made time to come to my table, she had big problems talking English or German. Finally we were informed by another waitress, that we will have to wait for food around 2 hours and we should rather have only drinks. I don't recommend this place.

Surprisingly nice and quality place as for a small village in a remoted, godforsaken corner of Czech Republic, most probably thanks to proximity of German border and flocks of German customers drawn by relatively low prices (definitely don't judge it by the look of the exterior) with great food (served hot, portions just big enough to fill you up - we've had a wok-cooked turkey bits with vegetables and pork tenderloin with gratinated potatoes - both delicious!) and craft beer (Falkenštejn světlý ležák from not so distant craft brewery in Krásna Lípa) and very friendly staff. Definitely worth visiting if you're around, so if you plan your visit in Czech Switzerland, don't omit this place - Dolní Poustevna is conveniently located en route to nearby Saxony Switzerland's most notable places like Bad Schandau, Lilienstein and Königstein.

Great restaurant. It was my favorite when I was a child, I still like it now. They just changed or stopped making the sauces like they used to when I was a kid.
