Was extremely surprised, when I tried to enter in with my 1.5 years old baby and the security person impolitely stopped me in an entrance, saying that it is prohibited to enter with kids. Then answering to the question “But what should I do as I cannot leave such a small son alone?”, he showed some small sign on the corner that “Entry is allowed for kids of 1.4m + high” and disappeared behind some door. Unfortunately I was with the trolley and a crutch this time barely walking from parking to the shop for !one! specific thing. Several people in parking suggested help, but no one in the shop even thought about asking what I may need. They simply did not allow to enter. To me this is blacklisting approach. Very different from any other country I know. Will be spreading this feedback further as I want my kinds to leave in a better service-oriented environment.

This is a shop stuck on an idea. Many other Makro around Europe moved along. Not these guys.
To shop here you should be representing a business. They offer extra large bundles.
What they offer, how they offer it, is actually great for families, big households, but no, in CZ you must be a business.

Oh, and parking in many of the places is still a disaster.

A lady at the reception told me i can not enter with a pram because humans under 140 cm are not allowed. That they are a mega store and the goods may fall from shelves and kill children or big machinery may run over a parm. What the heck, Macro, stop making things up, secure your shelves and train your machine drivers. Surely if there is any reason it can be shared honestly instead of Brothers Grimm tales of horror.

Good quality products, both home and food related make me wanna come back for shopping. Rules for prevention of Covid spread are respected. There is disinfectant and gloves at the entrance. The admittance is done only on a membership card base.

They don’t allow to enter with kids under 140cm. :-/ They don’t have a place for kids to let them play. So basically with kids you’re screwed. Move on to the 21st century Makro!
