Visiting the castle that contains this cathedral is a must of you are in Prague. It's it very busy, especially at the weekends. The ticket office in the first court yard is quieter and much quicker than the main ticket office opposite the cathedral. There are different ticket options, but tickets allow entrance once over 2 days if you need. Main 4 sites cost about £15 and then extra for climbing the 299 step bell tower in the side of the cathedral. This is definitely a must if you are fit enough to climb the steep spiral stairs as the view is incredible. The main cathedral is superb to see.

This place is breathtaking! It's very cold in there (we went in feb) and I swear it was colder than outside, but it was so BIG and beautiful. The stained glass windows were amazing (there are loads just haven't uploaded them all so you can see them for yourselves). You can hire a tour guide who will tell you historical facts and events about the place, or stroll to your own pace alone, which we did. Currently having work done on the inside so there is some scaffolding but it doesn't effect the experiencing of standing in something so grand. You can purchase a combo ticket from the SECOND information centre just near the entrance of the cathedral. Combo ticket gives access to the cathedral, castle, church and the little village. Well worth it. You will cover it all in around 4 hours. Best going early morning or lunchtime, as last entry is around 4pm.

St. Vitus Cathedral is easily the most impressive part of Prague Castle. The sheer size, towering spires, and intricate Gothic details make it a must-see.

The inside is just as stunning, especially the stained glass windows, which are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen.

The tombs of Bohemian kings and saints add to the sense of history.

You are required to purchase a ticket in order to enter, and it's only valid for a 1-time use.

Very gorgeous and serene place in Prague! The inner part has many statutes and glass mosaics reflecting the sun light! Its spacious interior makes it different from other churches in Prague!

Incredible, so much gold, just go! HOWEVER, even though we had booked a tour we had to go and check in at the ticket office and the queue was huge! We had twenty five minutes in hand when we arrived and only just made our slot in time. Well worth it though, we had the up close tour which took us into the crypt underneath the cathedral. Go as early as possible,and maybe see if there are fast track tickets, the crowds are vast and we went off season in Feb!

Amazing Gothic cathedral, but you should wear warmer clothes and shoes, as it is very cold inside. Nonetheless, it is definitely worth the visit and the ticket price, especially since you get to see 4 places in the price of 1 ticket.

The St. Vitus Cathedral really is the main landmark in Prague, standing proud above the city and visible from most locations. Considering when this was built, the architecture is astounding, it was a real feat of engineering. It’s really stood the test of time and must be one of the most photographed places in the world now.
The architecture is amazing from the towers at the front, the great south tower, to the whole superstructure and hall. Its worth doing the south tower to get stunning views right across Prague.
Definitely worth a visit and along with the other attractions and history, a good reason to visit Prague.
