Je to exkurze odtud z Prahy, kterou jsme rezervovali prostřednictvím get your guide. Od 1-6:30. Průvodce byl dobrý, doprava byla dobrá. Jedinou vadou je absence přestávek na jídlo, protože všechny blízké objekty mají zavřeno o 17:00."

My first ever visit to a camp and it was such a sad realization of what the Jewish community went through. Very reflective day on how fortunate some of us are to live normally and how unfortunate some of us were with unimaginable torture they went through. It is a day trip from Prague which we booked via get your guide. From 1-6:30. Guide was good, transport was good. The only problem is no breaks for any food as all the sites close by 5 PM.

If you don’t want to subject yourself to complete sadness for the lives lost this is not for you. I went on a weekend after avoiding it all my life. It is an overwhelming experience but I booked a guided tour and met interesting people along the way. These are the only pics I took and did not feel right taking more. Definitely something that needs to be seen although it breaks my heart

There was a school group visiting at same time . Visited with our Viking River tour group so arrangements made prior to visit . Our Viking guide took us inside and explained some of the displays and then we were on our own to explore . The display of luggage , belongings taken from those , children , adults and the letters, poems , drawings found and displayed , one can spend hours reading . There is also a movie to watch that was part used for propaganda during WWII. Amazing the area is now occupied by residents who want to live in the memory.

Nicely repaired buildings ,it's a must go to for any History lovers. Defo watch the movie last Butterfly for some inside.

A full day, (in 5 hours) although very sobering. The camp is extremely well preserved and authentic. The guide was well spoken, easily understandable and clearly had a vast knowledge of the subject. Admittedly, I’m pretty lazy…This tour does have a significant amount of walking. Although it says “wheelchair accessible” I wouldn’t do it.

Sophie/Sophia was an excellent tour manager. Very well-informed and anxious to help with information regarding the city and country along the way. Well worth the money.

This was my second visit to Terezin the Concentration Camp where my Grandma Alice and Aunt Hilde died.
My sister Caroline and I went to commemorate two wonderful people who were victims of the Nazi dictatorship that resulted in Millions of deaths. Yet evil people like Hitler are still trying to subject ordinary people worldwide to the horrors of war.

I had booked an english tour for the visit. The lady went into details of each room we visited. The whole surface to cover took about 1h and a half. It is worth the visit and would recommend to book a guide as there isn’t much information written.

It would have been better if we had a guide. Was confused on where starting point was from where we parked. Signs would have helped. Be prepared to do a lot of waking. The museums are outstanding!
